Project Overview
Asahi Beverages’ new APAC headquarters brings together more than 1,000 employees within an 8,800m² workplace spanning six levels. Designed by Hot Black and delivered by McCormack, the workplace adopts a hospitality-inspired approach to the modern office, balancing premium finishes with highly functional, flexible environments that encourage collaboration, innovation and connection. Aspen is proud to have delivered the bespoke architectural joinery package for this impressive project, helping create a contemporary workplace that supports both employee experience and day-to-day performance.
PROJECT SCOPE
Aspen manufactured and installed an extensive range of bespoke architectural joinery throughout all six levels of the headquarters. This included feature reception joinery, bar joinery, collaboration and breakout areas, kitchenettes, integrated storage, meeting room joinery, feature wall panelling, bespoke cabinetry and a variety of custom-built architectural elements. One of the defining spaces is the impressive Level 20 social hub, where bespoke joinery complements the dramatic double-height volume, central bar and café environment. Every element was manufactured to exacting standards, reinforcing the workplace’s refined aesthetic while supporting its functionality.
PROJECT DELIVERY
Delivering architectural joinery and wall panelling across six levels within a live, fast-paced construction programme demanded detailed planning and disciplined execution. From detailed shop drawings through to manufacturing, logistics and installation, every stage was carefully coordinated to maintain design quality while integrating seamlessly with the wider construction programme. Precision sequencing and close coordination between trades ensured demanding programme milestones were achieved without compromising quality. The completed headquarters reinforces Aspen’s expertise in delivering sophisticated joinery packages in which craftsmanship, technical capability, and meticulous project management are fundamental to the outcome.
