Project Overview
Aspen partnered with FDC and Graham Nicholas to deliver the bespoke architectural joinery package for HWL Ebsworth Lawyers’ new Sydney workplace at 5 Martin Place. Spanning approximately 11,000m² across five levels, the premium fit-out brings together the building’s heritage character with a contemporary, future-focused workplace designed to support more than 1,000 people. A considered palette of natural stone, leather and refined finishes complements the building’s character, creating a sophisticated environment that balances professionalism, functionality and a premium experience for both staff and clients.
PROJECT SCOPE
Aspen manufactured and installed an extensive range of bespoke architectural joinery throughout the workplace. The scope included feature reception joinery, client meeting spaces, boardroom and collaboration areas, breakout spaces, kitchen and utility areas, integrated storage and a variety of custom joinery elements tailored to the requirements of a large-scale legal practice. Each component was manufactured with precision and installed to achieve seamless integration with the project’s architectural finishes, heritage elements and highly functional workplace environment.
PROJECT DELIVERY
Delivering a major workplace fit-out across five levels within a live, occupied building required careful planning and close coordination with FDC, Graham Nicholas and the wider project team. Staged works and disciplined project coordination were essential to maintaining business continuity and minimising disruption while ensuring the project programme and exacting quality standards were achieved. Aspen’s precision manufacturing, detailed planning and meticulous installation contributed to a cohesive finished workplace that reflects HWL Ebsworth Lawyers’ commitment to quality while demonstrating Aspen’s craftsmanship, precision and attention to detail.
