The Tier One difference
Not every commercial joinery company is equipped to deliver Tier One projects. The scale is greater, the programmes are tighter, the documentation is more demanding, and the expectations are higher at every stage. Success depends on precision at scale, where every detail must be delivered consistently across large, complex environments. Aspen has built its business specifically for this level of work.
Tier One projects involve far more than manufacturing joinery. They require close integration with architects, consultants, builders and multiple trades, while documentation, procurement, production, installation and handover all move together within tightly managed programmes.
Aspen approaches these projects with what we call a zero-assumptions philosophy. Every shop drawing is developed with the understanding that the finished product will only ever be as good as the documentation behind it. Whether a project requires five drawing sheets or thirty, every revision, approval and coordination point is captured through disciplined document control, structured project registers and regular stakeholder meetings.
Every detail matters
Tier One projects also demand a different level of craftsmanship. It’s not simply about producing bespoke joinery. It’s about resolving hundreds of technical decisions that define the finished environment.
Stone slabs are carefully sequenced so veining flows naturally across adjoining surfaces. Timber grain is considered across every length and junction to achieve visual continuity. Curved reception desks, feature walls, integrated metalwork, specialist glazing interfaces and complex solid surface elements all require careful coordination between design, drafting and manufacturing long before production begins.
Throughout the project, the question remains the same: will the end user be as satisfied with the finished outcome as we are?

Our joinery for Property and Development NSW, delivered with MPA and designed by Davenport Campbell as part of the Parkline Workplace Hub, demonstrates this approach in practice.
The project brought together bespoke joinery across accessible kitchens, open-plan workspaces, collaborative hubs and multipurpose areas, while supporting ambitious sustainability objectives and a future-focused workplace experience.
Among its defining elements was the reception joinery, where multiple curved solid-surface and solid-timber components demanded exceptional manufacturing precision and finishing quality. Achieving that outcome required close collaboration between architects, consultants, drafting, manufacturing and installation teams from the earliest stages of the project.
